Fred Calixtro has completed his Doctor in Nursing Practice from Touro University Nevada. He is an Associate Professor at Roseman University of Health Sciences in Henderson, NV. At Roseman, he teaches medica-surgical course. His passion is to eliminate lateral violence in nursing and nursing education

Biography
I have taught numerous courses at the bachelor’s and graduate level. This includes didactic and clinical areas of instruction. I have taught community nursing at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and my dissertation. Some of these courses include a focus in community nursing. I have been responsible for planning, coordinating and participating in several large community related events. My dissertation, A Quantitative Study on Perceptions of Support Services and Student Persistence at a Southern University explored race and gender student retention at a HBCU in Southwest, Georgia. My master’s and doctorate level training and leadership roles within the college has provided me with insight, leadership, and compassion to further guide others in the facilitation of knowledge. I have also been Senior Level Bachelor Coordinator and Graduate Level Coordinator for various Nurse Education programs. In 2013, I developed and implemented a NCLEX board preparation course that helped the institution to improve their board passing rates from 75% to 100%. I have also been involved with various college level programs that are responsible for enhancing and maintaining the excellence level of institutions ensuring continued accreditation such as the Program Evaluation (PET) Committee, Curriculum Development Committee, and Faculty Senate Committee.

Biography
With over 16 years of experience as a nurse and educator, Dr Miller serves as chair of Argosy University-Atlanta nursing program. She has Master’s of Science in Nursing- education and PhD in Higher Education Administration. She has helped develop two RN programs and a NCLEX preparation course (100% passing rate). Dr. Miller is passionate about learning and facilitating knowledge. Her mission in life is to make sure that her students all have moments a clarity where the “proverbial light bulb†is illuminated with knowledge and understanding!
